How
is work assigned? Mystery
Shopping is a casual position and available assignments will vary from month to
month. Audits
are assigned on a rotational basis. As you can appreciate we can not send the
same auditor into the same outlet month after month. We work on a monthly program
with two deadlines that must be strictly adhered to - mid month and end of month.
All audits must be submitted within 48 hours of you visiting the outlet. This
ensures your experience is fresh in your memory and we are able to provide the
client with their reports in a timely manner. Rosters,
required templates and other relative information for the project are available
on our Auditor Login site and are loaded no later than the first of each month.
Access to this information can be retrieved via a security password available
from our Audit Manager once employment has commenced. How
and what do I get paid? Pay
rates vary per assignment. ($15.00 to $35.00) A training rate is applicable initially,
for all new auditors, and once reports are error free and you become familiar
with the process, then we promote you to a B Grade Auditor and finally, to an
A Grade Auditor. The pay structure increases depending on which Grade of auditor
you are. If deadlines
are not met or your reports, findings and information are incorrect or don't meet
the auditing criterion, you will not be paid. Rates
are inclusive of travel time, your time in the outlet and report writing. Reimbursement
for any specified purchases required during the audit, will be made only on submission
of receipts. Auditors are paid on a 36-day term from the end of month directly
into a nominated bank account electronically. Invoice
templates are also available on the Auditor Login site and can be down loaded
once employment has commenced. It
must be noted that Mystery Shopping is a casual position and must not be relied
on as a regular source of income. How
much work can I expect?
The number of audits
that you may be allocated in a month can vary. This is dependent on
our clients needs and goals for the month. Therefore, you must be aware
that some months assignments may not be available, particularly in remote
areas.
What
about training? Depending
on the complexity of each assignment, you may be required to attend training in
stores/centres with our State Auditing Managers. Sample audits are available to
you on every project template that you use to complete your assignments. Additionally,
on your Excel report sheet, all comment and score cells are flagged outlining
exactly what is required with each question. We also support this with a guide
to sentence structure, shading, row heights, formatting, scoring and saving your
report. Prior to the beginning of every project, your Auditing Manager
will brief you on the requirements of the project. Casual
employment is secured based on the information you provide to us in your application.
We assume this is accurate, and with the support we offer via sample audits and
guides, the auditing process and report writing is very straightforward. We
are also available at all times via email or phone if you have any queries. How
do I submit my reports? Completed
reports are emailed to an Audit Manager who has been assigned to your specific
project. You will be advised of this contact via your roster. We will acknowledge
receipt of submitted reports and if we have any queries or if there is a need
for corrections you will be advised via email within 24 hours. It is imperative
that you monitor your email daily and respond immediately- within 12 hrs. Please
retain your notes and saved reports for 12 months. I'm
interested. What do I do now? Fill
out our Online Application Form. Only fully
completed applications will be reviewed. We will advise you within 7 days if your
application has been successful. After that monitor your email regularly and we
will advise you when assignments are available.
